True Blood Trailer



Here's the trailer for HBO's True Blood series based on Charlaine Harris's Sookie Stackhouse books. The show stars Anna Paquin as Sookie and premieres September 7th. If you're a Sookie fan, I want to hear what you think of this sneak peek.

    I saw an early version of the first episode, and it was pretty good. I'm not sure if I'm crazy about Anna Paquin's Sookie, she seemed a bit over-the-top to me. But maybe she'll settle in or I'll get used to it.

    Bill was delicious, which is just not fair because Bill is a jerk.

    Haha! Alan Ball is the Man! This will definitely rock (and be gruesome, violent, and sexy). I may end up watching a lot of it alone...

    Just knowing that Ball is a Sookie fan makes me smile :)

    Hey, Deety! I'm happy to hear the first ep. is good. I have to say the trailer has me all tingly. And from what I can see of him, I definitely agree. Bill=hot. And I needed a longer glimpse of Eric...

    Hey, Mike. Yep, I'm thinking it will be the bomb. It's just so awesome and crazy that this series made it to an HBO series.

Interview with Diana Peterfreund + Rampant Giveaway!

Ever since I fell in love with Diana Peterfreund 's Secret Society Girl series last year, I've been hoping I'd get the chance to interview her here. I'm very excited about today's interviewee. As you know, I had been looking forward to the publication of Jane for months when a review copy happened in my lap and I let out a gasp of joy. Being a modernized retelling of Jane Eyre with a rock star-ized Mr. Rochester named Nico and a cover that hits every last one of my aesthetic buttons, it was sort of made to order for this reader.
