The DUFF Trailer


So I read (and loved) this book three years ago and I'm sort of giddy to see it's being adapted for the silver screen. Standard 90s teen flick appearance aside, I hope they retain her anger. Her glorious, nearly paralyzing anger. And that ending. 
Fingers crossed.

    Ah, I just saw this too. I'm cautiously optimistic that they keep to the spirit of the book (yes, the anger). Aside: what high school boy has abs like that?! That's a 20 something-year old. *googles*.. yeah 26.

    Kody Keplinger commented on the movie http://kodykeplinger.tumblr.com/post/103163060241/on-the-duff-movie-teaser-trailer#notes and it sounds like they had to change it to avoid all the sex, which I guess I understand, but it makes things very different. I'm still interested I think.

Interview with Alexandra Bracken + Brightly Woven Giveaway!

I fell in love with the cover of Alexandra Bracken 's debut novel-- Brightly Woven --last fall and the scant synopses I could find at the time certainly piqued my interest.
