I'm compiling a list of authors whose entire body of work I adore. This means not one sub par volume in the lot. I adore several authors who have only written one book (Meg Rosoff and Stephenie Meyer leap to mind) and so I wait to include them until their next books come out. Thus far the A List reads as follows: Lloyd Alexander Jane Austen Juliet Marillier Robin McKinley Sharon Shinn Mary Stewart Ellen Emerson White You never disappoint.
Tomorrow is the official start of my first NaNoWriMo . November is National Novel Writing Month and I've decided to jump off the proverbial cliff and give it a shot. 1,677 words a day for a grand total of 50,000 words is the goal. I have the sketchiest of outlines, a whole lot of hope, and no time at all. May the gods of writing watch over those of us about to write.
