Shallow, Part II

Apparently this one's the real deal. What do you think?

  1. That's a lot of *smoldering* going on there, on all parts.

It is just begging me to put little talk bubbles in it, though . . .

  2. It really is, isn't it? And it is positively calling out for talk bubbles, Maggie.

  3. I would sooo love to see what Maggie would come up with for this one!

Blissfully, I remain in the minority: I so heart Jacob. Even if Taylor isn't the Jacob in my head. (Ah, did that sound weird?)

  4. You made me do it, Angie. I'm blaming you. And you, Chelle.

  5. Chelle, there is no weird anymore when it comes to the Twilightverse. And Jacob is most wonderful.

Maggie, New Moon talk bubbles FTW!

  8. I like Taylor as Jacob. I can reconcile him with my imaginary one. It is a good poster.

Linger by Maggie Stiefvater, Review + Giveaway!

It seems a long time ago now that I first read Shiver -- the first book in the Wolves of Mercy Falls trilogy. But looking back I started it on the plane ride to BEA and finished it there in the conference center, fingers gripping the cover tightly, while sitting on the floor in one of the many autograph lines. And now it's May again and BEA is right around the corner and I emerge from my recent and nasty reading slump stupor to find a copy of Linger sitting in my mailbox like a glove thrown down in the dirt. "I will be the one to pull you out," it whispers to me slyly.
