Music Thursday

For all you M. Ward fans out there, here's a video of the man playing an acoustic version of "Chinese Translation" live at the Bing Lounge in Portland. DH showed it to me last night, and I don't know about you, but I think it's . . . well . . . fabulous.

  1. Just had to pop over to say a huge congratulations, Angie. Finny is so beautiful. What a lucky little guy to be born into the Thompson clan. Love you guys! Congratulations again! You have me so excited for our little boy in October. And that name...that name. I love it. Ever since Separate Peace. LOVE IT.

Forever Blog Tour + Giveaway!

I'm awfully excited to be a part of this unique blog tour in celebration of the release of Forever by the insanely talented Maggie Stiefvater .  Scholastic recently launched an online community called  This Is Teen  to connect readers with their favorite YA authors and books. His breathtaking blend of maturity and vulnerability tugs at my heartstrings and the strength of his relationship with Grace is unswerving.  He is warm and thoughtful and artistic, and I liked him right from the start of the series . Because I can't resist, here are two of my favorite Sam quotes, the first from Grace's point of view in  Shiver and the second from Sam&
