2015 Must Be Mine List

I always curl up with several rereads at the end of a year, and as I revisit old friends I look forward to and anticipate all the lovely new titles to come in the new year. And now that it's actually here, it is time for my 2015 Must Be Mine list:

And no covers (or titles in a couple of cases) yet on these, but I cannot wait:

Tell the Wind and Fire by Sarah Rees Brennan
The Shameless Hour by Sarina Bowen
The Raven Cycle #4 by Maggie Stiefvater
The Elemental Trilogy #3 by Sherry Thomas
Carry On by Rainbow Rowell
The Rogue Not Taken by Sarah MacLean

And you and the coming year? Which titles are giving you grabby hands?

  11. It's funny how I know only about the last one with cover (and I've read it a few days ago) and the Raven Cycle finale - of, how I'm waiting for that one :D

  12. Yes to the Lisa Kleypas! It's been too long waiting for that one :) I haven't read Heather Demetrios but I am starting to get psyched for it as I see so much love for her everywhere. And I am also really curious about Fallout.

I am also so out of the loop for upcoming titles for 2015. Can hardly even believe it is 2015!

This is the year that I try my first Patricia Briggs. I've seen nothing but good things around the internet about her so I wanna give her a try. Great list!

  18. It is pretty good even though it's different than anything I've read before, so it is really hard to compare. I am going to read the first one too (the companion, if we can say that), as I've heard great things about it as well.

  19. I'm happy to hear that! I really enjoyed the first one.

  20. My pleasure! Let me know how it goes.

On Angie, the Relative Scarcity Thereof

I've been a bit scarce round these parts of late and I feel badly about it. But there is a good reason and I've been waiting until today to share it with you. Just so I could include one rather pertinent detail. It's a boy! Fortunately I'm at the point where I'm starting to feel better, so things should soon start resembling business as usual around here. I, for one, am relieved.

Forever Blog Tour + Giveaway!

I'm awfully excited to be a part of this unique blog tour in celebration of the release of Forever by the insanely talented Maggie Stiefvater .  Scholastic recently launched an online community called  This Is Teen  to connect readers with their favorite YA authors and books. Visit their page on   Facebook   for all the latest news on   Maggie Stiefvater   and   Forever .  Each stop on the tour is hosting a particular character from the Wolves of Mercy Falls trilogy, and I have the good luck to be the stop for Sam--my favorite emo-wolfboy!  Sam is so very endearing, in a decidedly non-angsty or overt way. His breathtaking blend of maturity and vulnerability tugs at my heartstrings and the strength of his relationship with Grace is unswerving.  He is warm and thoughtful and artistic, and I liked him right from the start of the series . Because I can't resist, here are two of my favorite Sam quotes, the first from Grace's point of view in  Shiver and the second from Sam&
