Publisher's Weekly got the first peek at the cover of Catching Fire--Suzanne Collins' sequel toThe Hunger Games. I like it. But then I really liked the first cover as well. Looking forward to some interesting developments in this one. Thanks to Jen for the heads up!
As ever, begin as you mean to go on. And so here are my most anticipated titles of 2024: And no covers on these yet, but I'm looking forward to them every bit as much: The Unselected Journals of Emma M. Lion, Vol. 8 by Beth Brower Long Live Evil by Sarah Rees Brennan Skybriar by Talia Hibbert Slow Dance by Rainbow Rowell Father Material by Alexis Hall The Duke at Hazard by K.J. Charles Hell's Belle's book four by Sarah MacLean What titles are on your list?
Oooh, great cover...but what does it all mean? Can we shamelessly read into the fact that the mockingjay is unfrozen & seems to be flying into action? Is something in the mockingjay's mouth?
ReplyDeleteLove the colors (nice reversal from the first book) & that the circle is segmented into 12 districts. I always figured Catching Fire would show Katniss & Co on the tour of other districts learning how the others live and finding pockets of rebellion....
YAY! I can't wait!
ReplyDeleteWonderings, I'll buy that. I like that it might be flying into action. And I'm definitely hoping for some fomenting of rebellion in this one!
ReplyDeleteJanssen, me either!
My daughter and I are both REALLY looking forward to this book. I have a feeling we're going to fight over who gets to read it first....
ReplyDeleteAny news on a release date?
Never mind. It's September 8, 2009. ;)
