Today's post can be found over at The Book Smugglers. Ana and Thea kindly invited me to guest blog over there today as part of their most excellent Young Adult Appreciation Month. Come by and weigh in as we talk about young adult literature and why we read it and love it.
I've been a bit scarce round these parts of late and I feel badly about it. But there is a good reason and I've been waiting until today to share it with you. Just so I could include one rather pertinent detail. It's a boy! Fortunately I'm at the point where I'm starting to feel better, so things should soon start resembling business as usual around here. I, for one, am relieved.
Oh what a great guest posting! You really captured some of the reasons and feelings why I love YA too! Part of the reason why I want to build up my library, is also because I love having people come in and borrow my books so that we can discuss how great they were after! Sharing bookish experiences is always so fulfilling =)

Sharry, thank you so much! It's such a wonderful feeling passing on wonderful books and loaning out your own is particularly lovely because they have to come back and you get to talk to them. Also there's just something special about knowing your copy was the one they read first.
ReplyDeleteGoing over now...
