Tell Me What to Do

I need your advice. I just finished Tamora Pierce's Bloodhound (review forthcoming) and I've got such a lovely stack sitting next to me and no idea where to start. That's where you come in. Here are the options:


So give me your input. Have you read any of these? What's it gonna be?

    I would have to say Fragile Eternity b/c:
    1. I am currently reading it.
    2. The only Shannon Hale I've tried (Austenland) didn't grab me (as much as I LOVE Austen)
    3. I've heard good things about Marcelo, but um... I am currently reading Fragile Eternity so I am just going to stick with that suggestion.

    I'd love to hear what you think of Marcelo-I read it myself and very much enjoyed it!

    But...I'd also like to hear what you think of Fragile Eternity.

    And the Shannon Hale book looks fascinating.

    I would go with the Marcelo one, you know, if I had to choose. But sadly, I don't have to choose. I have none of those books. :(

    Violet, I will definitely review it as soon as I get to it.

    Diana, isn't the cover gorgeous? I think it's so striking.

    SunShine, lol. All three it is!

    Carrie, I'm kind of leaning the Marcelo way. It sounds fascinating. And you know if you ever need a good book, I will happily drive one up to you. Or perhaps meet you at the London Market for the drop-off... :)

    I'm most curious about Marcelo in the Real World, so I say read that one first.

    Then again, I haven't heard a thing about the Shannon Hale novel and it looks different from her other works I'm familiar with, so I'd love to hear your thoughts on that one, too.

    Fragile Eternity looks really good, too.

    I just looked up The Actor and the Housewife and found out it is an adult novel. I just assumed it was YA which really doesn't make sense now that I look at the cover art. Maybe I don't deserve a vote. LOL

    We might have to arrange a London Market book exchange periodically. Yes. That sounds like something we need to do. But I fear I won't have any books to contribute. Maybe I can just supply the treats. :)

    Christine, yeah, THE ACTOR AND THE HOUSEWIFE is Hale's second adult novel. I'm very interested to see what this one's like. I honestly have no idea what to expect.

    Dottie, I've heard the same. Marr always delivers.

    Liviana, that's good to know. Have you finished it yet?

    Janicu, I know, I know. I have it rough.

    Carrie, you buy me an apple Tango and I'm yours. ;)

    Liza, you know I will. Every night. :) The Marr is a direct sequel to WICKED LOVELY, btw, so I think you'd like it.

On Angie, the Relative Scarcity Thereof

I've been a bit scarce round these parts of late and I feel badly about it. But there is a good reason and I've been waiting until today to share it with you. Just so I could include one rather pertinent detail. It's a boy! Fortunately I'm at the point where I'm starting to feel better, so things should soon start resembling business as usual around here. I, for one, am relieved.
