Here it is! The cover of the third and final book in Maggie Stiefvater's Wolves of Mercy Falls trilogy. I'm so glad it's red. I think it fits the close of this series well, I love the subtle change in the leaves, and it makes me happy to see Sam on his very own cover as well. Forever
is due out July 12th of next year and it promises to be just a doozy of a finale.
I feel a bit giddy finally talking to you all about this series. If you'll remember, I fell madly in love with The Q when it came out a few years ago. Now, Beth Brower is writing The Unselected Journals of Emma M. Lion — a series of novellas set in London in 1883. Each volume is an excerpt from the incorrigible Emma's journals, and the first two volumes are already available with the third on the way soon. I think they'd make rather perfect pandemic reading. Humorous and charming down to their bones, they're just what the doctor ordered to lift your spirits in this uncertain time that just proves to be too much some days. This is a great cover. I am liking the read. All the books together makes the series look great. I need to read Linger, waiting for one of my daughters to finish the read.
ReplyDeleteI like it! It completes the other two books really well. I'm looking forward to reading it!
ReplyDeleteLOVE!
ReplyDeleteit's warmer than her previous covers, I only read Shiver but I didn't love it as much as everybody else seems to do (:
ReplyDeleteibeeeg, they really do look great together. Can't wait to have them side by side on my shelves. And you're a good mom for waiting for your daughter to finish. Not sure I'd be so patient!
ReplyDeletekay, I agree. Can't wait!
Tiah, *grin* Me, too.
Ari, I'm sorry. I hate that feeling. I don't know whether to recommend giving LINGER a try or not. It's a fair bit different from SHIVER with a new awesome character. It's the writing that really gets me, though. So if you liked it, you might forge on and if not, no worries.
Shiver was so good! Love the new cover. Hate how far away its release is!
ReplyDeleteLiza, I know. So long...here's hoping for an ARC. ;)
